Mitchell and Dan founded Personal Premed in 2020 because they saw a gap in the advising market. Most premed advisors have never been career changers themselves. They haven't navigated the postbac application process, worried about whether their non-science background is "good enough," or agonized over which programs to target.
Mitchell and Dan both left established careers, completed competitive postbac programs, and went on to medical school. That firsthand experience — combined with six years of advising hundreds of applicants — means they know exactly what admissions committees look for and how to position your application. They've also brought on Leah, a successful former applicant who completed Bryn Mawr's postbac program and is now in medical school, adding a recent applicant's perspective to the team.
