Why did we start Personal Premed?
Getting accepted to medical school is tough. Getting accepted as a non-traditional career changer is even more daunting. After being admitted to top tier premed postbac programs and medical schools, several friends asked for our advice.
Personal Premed started as an attempt to help find quality resources. Unfortunately there isn’t much out there. So we started writing articles about maximizing one’s odds of getting into postbacs. Our one-on-one personalized advising grew out of this passion: helping our friends get into top postbac programs.
How successful are your advisees?
We have helped hundreds of premed post-bacc applicants through our articles and video content. We have personally advised over 50 applicants on getting into top tier premedical post-baccalaureate programs and medical schools. More than 90% of our advisees reuse our services during the same admissions cycle. Of those that use 1+ hours of our advising, all have been accepted into a program.
